MATTHEW RAYMOND

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Matthew (known as Matt) grew up spending time at the garage alongside his Dad and has worked full time in the business since 2007.  Matt is married with two children, has a dog and lives in Finchingfield. Matt is an integral part of the business, providing daily leadership and support to staff. He is approachable and well thought of by staff and customers. Matt is proud the business continues to succeed 35 years on.

Did you know? Matt has a passion for Tottenham Hotspur, Golf, trips to Devon and loves cooking!

TERRY RAYMOND

DIRECTOR

Terry took over the garage with a business partner in 1988 aged 40 and has dedicated 35 years of loyal and hardworking service to the business. The garage has continued to succeed through his hard work and commitment. Terry is known for his fair, accommodating kind nature and good humour. Terry now works part time for the business and through great customer care over the years has built up strong customer relationships where his commitment to providing good service is much appreciated. Terry is married, has two children, four grandchildren and lives in Chelmsford.

Did you know? Terry loves gardening, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

MATTHEW TEW

MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN/MOT TESTER & WORKSHOP MANAGER

Matthew (known as Mafro) has worked at Jesmond Garage since 2006. Mafro lives in Suffolk and is married with 3 children. Mafro is one of our longest team members, he is held in high regard from our customers due to his knowledge and approach to his work.

Mafro has great problem solving ability and provides guidance and direction for the team.

Did you know? Mafro enjoys the outdoors, mountain biking and is a dab hand at a BBQ! He also enjoys F1 and one of his favourite foods is sausage & mash!

DALE MAY

MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN & MOT TESTER

Dale (known as Bob!) joined Jesmond Garage in 2018. Bob has over 30 year’s experience in the motor trade, he is very efficient, hardworking and determined when faced with challenges.

Bob lives in Braintree and has a dog called Phoebe, he enjoys playing darts and is a big supporter of Liverpool FC.

Did you know? Bob loves a curry, trips to Devon and abroad.

STEVE WORRAL

MOT TESTER

Steve has been working at Jesmond Garage since 1995, he is the longest serving staff member. Steve lives in Great Bardfield and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. Steve has a great love of classic cars, particularly Fiats. Steve is methodical in his work, works well independently and has a loyal service record at Jesmond Garage.

Did you know? Steve owns a 1972 Fiat 850 Spider and loves going to classic car shows.

JACK LENTON-WADE

MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Jack joined Jesmond Garage in 2019, he is a level 3 fully qualified mechanic following the completion of his apprenticeship. Jack will soon be studying to become an MOT tester, he has always been very methodical with his work and has established strong relationships with our customers. Jack lives in Finchingfield, enjoys going to the gym and carp fishing.

Did you know? Jacks favourite food is pizza…and loves a beer! he also has a huge interest in F1 

TRACEY DALZIEL

CONVENIENCE STORE & FUEL STATION SUPERVISOR

Tracey has worked at Jesmond Garage since 2018, she brings lots of fun and you will always hear her loud infectious laugh when you pop in. Tracey attends to our customers daily ensuring the shop is well run and organised. Tracey lives in Finchingfield, has two children and has a passion for animals, she has 3 horses and 4 dogs! Tracey also loves travelling, holidays in the sun…. and sunbathing! 

Did you know? Tracey’s favourite food is Thai, she enjoys reading books and used to be a live in Nanny!

STEPH HOLROYD

BOOKEEPER

Steph has been bookkeeping for Jesmond Garage since 1996 and is a much respected support to the team. Steph lives in Chelmsford, has children, grandchildren and a dog.
